Below are the reports from our Inspection in May. You will notice that there are two inspection reports:

Notre Dame Preparatory School FCI Final 17 07 17

Notre Dame Preparatory School EQI Final 17 07 17

The first report is on Compliance which relates to all aspects of the school that must be legally compliant i.e. Health & Safety, Safeguarding etc.  There is no degree of success with relation to the compliance report; you either meet or do not meet each respective standard. I am delighted to say that we are indeed fully compliant and have successfully met every standard scrutinised.

The second report is on the Educational Quality of the school. The various areas on children’s education are inspected and the inspectors make a judgement based on the following grade descriptors: Excellent, Good, Sound or Unsatisfactory. We were adjudged to be excellent in all areas;

  • The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is EXCELLENT
  • The quality of the pupils’ personal development is EXCELLENT

The findings section on the educational quality report shows the judgements arrived at by the Inspectors, further on it goes through the evidence that was used to arrive at these findings.

Please note that the word ‘Outstanding’ has been superseded by ‘Excellent’ which is now the top award.  Our award of EXCELLENT is the judgement the Inspectors reached after close scrutiny of  the lessons, pupil exercise books, planning, interviews with staff and most importantly, interviews with pupils. In addition they also based their findings on the parent and pupil questionnaires.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the governors, the staff, the parents and the pupils for your wonderful support in helping to achieve this perfect Inspection report.
