Our before and after school clubs

There is before and after school provision should parents require it, details of which you can see below. You can also contact us directly for greater clarification. From our base in Norwich, Notre Dame Preparatory School welcomes children from all over the area.

Before school care

Nursery Children - We offer an Early Morning Drop Off service (Before 08.30) for Caterpillar & Butterfly children, however there is a small charge of £2.50 for this service. Bookings for Early Morning Drop Off can be made via Schools Buddy. For more information contact the school office.

Pre-Prep - Prep 6 Children - To assist parents, the school provides child supervision for Pre-Prep - Prep 6 Children from 8am until 8.30am, for which there is no charge at the present time. The children go to their respective classrooms and are registered at 8.30am when the school day begins. Assembly begins at 8.45am.

After school care

In addition to Extracurricular-clubs, we offer flexible after school care, supervised play and activities for the younger children, as well as a homework club for the older children each day. At 3.30pm for EYFS and KS1, and 3.45pm for KS2, the children staying after school will be given a light refreshment before play or homework. After school care can be extended to include a light tea served at 5pm. All children must be collected by 5.45pm.

Booking after school club

Bookings for After School Club are made through SchoolsBuddy, which can be accessed with your own login, via the website or mobile app.
After School Club can be booked in two parts, First Session and Second Session. A light tea is provided during the Second Session.
Block bookings or daily bookings can be made, up to 11.30am before the session. There is also the ability to cancel a booking 24hrs in advance.
Payment is taken at the time of booking.

Signing out children

Children attending homework club or an extracurricular activity - and not staying in the after school club for tea - will be taken to the main entrance to be collected and signed out by parents.
Children attending after school club – Nursery to Prep 3 children who attend the first session or older children who are staying for the second session to include tea will need to be signed out from the hall (Dereham Rd entrance).

Coats and bags

If your child is attending homework club or an extracurricular activity, your child’s coats and bags will be with them.

If your child is attending the after school club, either the first session or the second session, your child’s coat and bag will be on the coat pegs outside the hall.
