About the PTA

Who we are:

The PTA is a group of parents and teachers who have a keen interest in Notre Dame Prep School and its pupils and who are willing to invest their time to ensure that the pupils’ academic and social wellbeing is enhanced.

All parents are automatically members of the PTA and are encouraged to become more involved by attending meetings, organising fundraisers or helping out at events hosted.  It is a friendly, pro-active and open group and it welcomes new members at any time.

Joining the PTA committee is a perfect opportunity to meet and get to know other parents. If you are new to the school it could be the link to forging lifelong friendships as well as helping you enrich your child’s experience of school.

What we do:
  • We raise money for non-curricular activities for the school.
  • We organise social events for parents and pupils. These have included multi-cultural evenings, table top sales, summer fetes, Christmas bazaars, Balls, bingo evenings and many more fun activities.
  • We support school events such as sports days, open days and Christmas and summer plays.
How we have helped:

Most recently the PTA has contributed towards the installation of an ‘All Weather Surface’ on the school field, acquisition of two new school minibuses, musical instruments, sports equipment and the library.

We are currently raising funds to enhance science and computing within the school.

We have also raised a substantial amount of money for charity, including Norwich Door to Door, EACH and Nelson’s Journey.
