Clubs and Activities at Notre Dame Prep School
At Notre Dame Prep, we offer a vibrant range of wrap-around care and enrichment activities designed to support the busy schedules of our families while providing an inspiring extension to the school day.
We understand that child care needs to be both flexible and reliable; therefore, our provision is designed to be as seamless as possible, allowing parents peace of mind while their children thrive. Whether your child is eager to explore a new hobby in a specialist extra-curricular club, develop their social skills through supervised play, or simply unwind in our after-school care, they are supported by a familiar and nurturing team.
Our activities take place in the safe, happy, and well-equipped environment that our pupils already know and love, ensuring a smooth transition from the classroom to afternoon play. By offering a balanced mix of structured learning and relaxed recreation, we ensure that every child’s unique interests are catered for. These sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for pupils to build confidence, strengthen friendships across different year groups, and return home feeling both accomplished and refreshed.
Before and After School Clubs
To assist our families, we provide comprehensive wrap-around care from 8:00am until 5:30pm.
Before school, we offer a supervised drop-off service; while there is a small £2.50 charge for Nursery children, supervision for Pre-Prep through to Prep 6 is currently free of charge. After school, our provision is flexible to suit your needs. Children in EYFS and KS1 (from 3:30pm) and KS2 (from 3:45pm) enjoy light refreshments before moving into supervised play or our dedicated Homework Club for older pupils.
Care can be extended to include a light, un-cooked tea served at 5:00pm, with all bookings easily managed through the SchoolsBuddy app. For maximum flexibility, you can book daily or in blocks up to 11:30am on the day of the session. We ensure a smooth transition at the end of the day, with staff guiding children to the main entrance or the hall for collection, ensuring every child is safely signed out by 5:30pm.

Extra-Curricular Activities
Our extra-curricular programme is designed to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
These clubs offer a fantastic opportunity for children to bond with friends across their Key Stage while developing new skills and passions. While our teacher-led clubs change each term to keep the programme fresh, recent favourites have included Football, Golf, Minecraft, Art and Craft, and Cookery. In addition to these group activities, our peripatetic team offers individual tuition in a wide array of instruments – from Violin and Piano to Drums and Ukulele – as well as Speech and Drama lessons.
There is a small weekly charge of £6 per session.
Holiday Club
To support parents throughout the year, Notre Dame Prep operates a popular Holiday Club during school break periods.
Hosted on our familiar school grounds, the club typically runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, offering a variety of engaging activities for children from across the local area. Like our term-time wrap-around care, all Holiday Club bookings are handled conveniently via SchoolsBuddy. It is a wonderful way for children to maintain their friendships and stay active in a setting where they feel completely at home.
